We have been keeping fish for nearly 45 years, 30 of those years have been dedicated to African Cichlids!  Along with providing high quality fish we also have a strong commitment to accomplishing this in the “Greenest” way possible.  

What are Cichlids? (Pronounced: SICK-lids)

Cichlids is a generic term referring to a group of freshwater fish commonly found in India, South America and Africa. Estimates of the number of cichlid species range from 1,900 to 2,200, making it one of the three largest vertebrate families. Cichlids span a wide range of body sizes, from species as small as 1 inch in length to larger species approaching 3 ft in length, but many are an average size perfect for the home hobbyist.
